Weekly update

We attended the Monroe County Fair last weekend and.......we won a fish. He's still alive and living in one of my large flower vases. His name is Jonas - named after the Jonas Brothers (we had just watched Camp Rock the night before).

Ryan attended a YMCA day camp every day this past week with his cousin Gavin. They were outside all day, everyday and came home exhausted & happy. The last day of camp they took a field trip to Seabreeze amusement park here in Rochester. I went with the group and it was chaotic but fun! We did the water park and rode all the kiddie rides. We also did one roller coaster that I'm so phyched he liked as it was definitely NOT a kiddie coaster! We were going down one of the big hills and he yells out 'this is awesome mommy' :-) :-)! Looking forward to hitting the amusement parks when we're in Myrtle Beach next month! He had a blast all week and ended up with the camper of the week award along with his cousin Gavin for their good behavior!

Yesterday was very hot & humid. The kids played with the sprinklers & hose while Scott did some yard work. Then I got them on their bikes.

Ryan loves his Radio Flyer big wheel! Jess riding her bike in her swimsuit. Yesterday was the first time she rode all by herself.
Here is Ryan on his Spiderman bike. We took a long bike ride in the evening and he did really good on it. For those who don't know, he took a big spill on this bike about a year ago and has refused to ride it since. So riding this bike yesterday was very exciting. He kept saying how fun it was and how proud he was of himself :-).

July Fourth weekend

July 4th weekend was a busy weekend. We enjoyed a nice picnic on the 4th at Aunt Cindy and Uncle Jacks. The kids, Grandma and cousin Leah went on the trampoline several times and we all went in the pool. Great food, great family, and a good time as always!

We also visited the Anderson family at Sherkston Shores in Canada. We spent the day at the beach swimming & playing in the sand. Scott, Charlie and the boys spent some time at the video arcade while us girls had a little happy hour with candy necklaces and juice :-) After dinner we headed over to a small carnival to enjoy the rides. Fun day!!

Picnic in Lockport

Here is Grandma in the trampoline with the kids (how cool is she!!). Jess took off her white dress because the trampoline was dirty - so that is her with no shirt on!

Here is a video of the kids on the trampoline with Leah. She bounces them pretty high!

Resting.....

Summer

Summer is so fun - parades, ice cream, swimming, carnivals, sprinklers, staying up late. Here's are some picture's of what we've been up too.

The Barnard Parade
I've been going to this parade since I was a kid! Uncle Dan & Aunt Barb marched in the parade so we all yelled & waved when we saw them!

Swimming
Bob, Molly and Drew were in town recently so the boys enjoyed some time with their cousin Drew in the pool. The girls did the Slip-N-Slide - what fun!

The 3 cousins swimming and playing 'shark' - Drew, Ryan and Gavin.

Graduation

Ryan graduated from his Pre-K program about 3 weeks ago. Care-A-Lot had a nice ceremony where the kids sang some songs, got official diploma's, and had a reception. The kids decorated a white shirt with their name & handprints and also made their own hats - great keepsakes!

Thanks to Grandma, Grandpa, Papa, Mema (in spirit), Aunt Donna, Gavin and Isabelle for coming!!!
